Curtain Cleaning Service for homes and businesses in New Market
Curtains are taken down, tagged room by room, washed or dry-cleaned according to fabric, pressed, and re-hung on the same rails by the same team. Heavy blackout drapes and pelmets that cannot come down are steam cleaned in place.
New Market runs on business hours, so curtain cleaning here is normally scheduled for the evening, overnight or a Friday, and handed back before the next working day starts. We handle curtain cleaning in New Market for both households and businesses, and the scope is written differently for each.
Why New Market is its own case: The New Market cluster is one of the oldest and busiest retail districts in the city, with several adjoining markets sharing narrow service lanes and continuous crowds. Market buildings and shops, with older residential blocks in the lanes behind toward Azimpur.
Why curtain cleaning matters in a neighbourhood like New Market
Curtains are the first filter between a Dhaka street and your living room, and they do that job whether you want them to or not. Road dust, vehicle soot and cooking smoke all settle into the fabric. You rarely notice, because the change is gradual — until one curtain is washed and hung next to an unwashed one, and the colour difference is obvious.

How the job runs, step by step
-
1
Survey and tag
Every curtain is photographed, measured and tagged with its room and window so nothing is re-hung in the wrong place.
-
2
Take down
Hooks and rings are removed and bagged per curtain. Rails and pelmets are wiped while the windows are bare.
-
3
Clean by fabric
Cotton and polyester are washed; velvet, silk and blackout linings are dry-cleaned. Nothing is mixed.
-
4
Press and finish
Each panel is pressed or steam finished so the pleats fall straight when it goes back up.
-
5
Re-hang
The same team re-hangs everything, sets the pleats and checks the drop at each window.

Curtain Cleaning Service in New Market — frequently asked questions
Do you provide curtain cleaning in New Market?
Yes. New Market is inside our regular service area and our teams work in Central Dhaka every week. Call 01913-808807 or send a WhatsApp message and we will confirm the next available slot.
How soon can a team reach New Market?
Access is only practical before the markets open or after they close. For most bookings in New Market we can schedule within 24 to 48 hours, and sooner for urgent work.
Will heavy curtains shrink?
Not if they are cleaned by the correct method, which is why we sort by fabric first. Velvet, silk and anything with a blackout lining is dry-cleaned rather than washed.
Do you re-hang them or do I?
We do, and it is included. The same team that took them down puts them back and sets the pleats.
Can you clean curtains without taking them down?
Yes, with an on-rail steamer. It works well for refreshing heavy drapes and pelmets, but it does not reach the level of a full wash.
Do you clean blinds as well?
Yes — roller, Roman and vertical blinds are all cleaned, usually in place.
