Housekeeping & Maid Service for homes and businesses in Chawkbazar
Housekeeping supplies trained and identity-verified staff on a schedule — daily hours, a few days a week, or a full-time posting. Staff work to an agreed task list, under a supervisor, with documented cover when someone is absent.
The lanes in Chawkbazar will not take a service vehicle, so everything is carried in and the team is sized for stair work. It is slower, and it is the only way the job gets done properly. Most of our housekeeping work in Chawkbazar is for families in their own flats, so the team is briefed to work around whoever is at home.
Why Chawkbazar is its own case: Chawkbazar is a wholesale trading heart of Old Dhaka, famous for its Ramadan iftar market, with warehouses, chemical stores and homes tightly interleaved. Old buildings combining storage, trade and residential use, on very narrow congested lanes.
Why housekeeping matters in a neighbourhood like Chawkbazar
The difficulty with household help in Dhaka is rarely finding someone. It is verification, training and continuity. Most households hire on a personal reference, have no record of who is in their home, and are left with nothing when that person stops coming without notice — which is the problem a managed arrangement is meant to solve.
Getting to you in Chawkbazar

What to know before booking in Chawkbazar
- Old materials, gentler methods
- Chawkbazar has lime plaster, aged timber and original mosaic that modern chemistry will damage. We dial the method back here — lower pressure, milder products, more hand work.
- Everything is carried in
- No service vehicle reaches most addresses in Chawkbazar. Machines are broken down at the nearest accessible point and carried the rest of the way, which is why we allow more time per job here.
- Shared services between buildings
- Water lines and drains in Chawkbazar are often shared across adjoining buildings. For tank, drain or pest work, treating one unit alone rarely holds — we will tell you when the neighbours need to be in on it.
