What pest control service actually involves

The reason most pest treatments fail is that they target the insects you can see rather than the ones you cannot. A general spray kills what is in the open and leaves the population and the egg cases intact, so within three weeks the numbers are back.

Gel baiting works differently — roaches feed on it, return to the harbourage and pass the active ingredient through the colony. Bed bugs need a different approach again: heat or a residual treatment applied directly to seams, bed frames and skirting, always with a follow-up visit timed to catch the eggs that hatch after the first treatment. Getting the species and the timing right is most of the job.
